So on a typical saturday, after browsing Yard Sale Database, I found several yard sales near my zipcode. I head over to the ones that seem promising from the pics and description, and went at itafter browsing around, this brand-new-in-the-box XM Satellite Radio Receiver was in a box in the midst of old barbie dolls and disgusting used pornos. The owner who was a 60 year old man, probably had a penchant for barbie dolls back when he was .... 45? hahah anyway so being the fearless money maker that I am, i venture in the box and shoved the old pornos and pulled out the Radio Receiver.

So for 1 dollar i got this brand new still in shrink wrap radio receiver. I pick it up and left the sale. I went to a few other ones in vicinity that day but they are not worth mentioning. On Sunday afternoon, as I have said in my other blog that is the best time to eBay an item, since people are lazy on the sundays and have time to browse eBay. Keep in mind i am using PST, so i cant start the auction at 6pm here cuz then it'd be 9pm on the east side and people might be signing off. I posted my item and left it for a standard 7 days exposure

Not that I have been constantly checking the auction but omg man its at 60.50 with 23 bids????? gez this is an item i picked up for 1 dollar??? The last few min were even more amazing with each bidder outbidding the previous cheap bastards that scour eBays. Then it was over, the item sold at a whopping 75.50, plus my killer shiping of 15 dollars, which i will use prioity mail to ship and pocket the rest.
